Welcome to SignalRide. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to SignalRide. SignalRide operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). SignalRide is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

By visiting, using or making a purchase through the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your state or country of residence to make a purchase through the Services. If you are a minor, you may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

2. Products and Safe Use

We make every effort to display our products, colors and features as accurately as possible. However, actual colors and details may vary slightly depending on your screen, and we cannot guarantee that your device's display is accurate.

Our LED signal backpack is designed to improve the rider's visibility and help signal turns and stops to others on the road. It is a visibility aid only. It does not prevent accidents and is not a substitute for a helmet, proper lights and reflectors required by local law, safe riding habits or adult supervision. Riders must always follow local traffic laws and ride with care. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether the product is suitable for their child and for supervising its use.

Please read the user manual included with the product before use, and charge the LED panel only with a suitable USB charger.

3. Prices and Promotions

All prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Prices, promotions and discounts may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or product information, even after an order has been placed, and to cancel any order affected by such an error. If we cancel an order that has already been paid, you will receive a full refund.

4. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information. We accept payment through PayPal and major debit and credit cards. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we do not store your full card details.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, unauthorized resale or errors in product or pricing information. If we cancel an order after you have been charged, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method.

5. Shipping, Returns and Refunds

Shipping times and conditions are described in our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds and our 90-day money-back guarantee are described in our Refund Policy. Both policies form part of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services, including text, images, graphics, logos and the SignalRide name, is owned by or licensed to SignalRide and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use any content from the Services for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

7. Comments and Feedback

If you send us comments, suggestions, reviews or other feedback, you agree that we may use, edit and publish them without any obligation to you. You agree that your feedback will not contain false, unlawful, abusive or offensive content and will not violate the rights of any third party.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to violate any laws or the rights of others; (c) to submit false or misleading information; (d) to upload or transmit viruses or any malicious code; (e) to collect or track the personal information of others; or (f) to interfere with or bypass the security features of the Services. We may terminate your use of the Services for violating any of these prohibited uses.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services, such as payment processors and shipping carriers. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party, and your use of their services is subject to their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as expressly stated in our Refund Policy, the Services and all products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SignalRide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or any product purchased through the Services. Our total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SignalRide from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, or your misuse of any product purchased through the Services.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Termination

These Terms remain in effect unless and until terminated by you or us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. Any obligations incurred before termination shall survive.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your state or country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
